A goods receipt entered in error against a production order can now be reversed, as a whole document or by chosen lines.
Correct accounting for production receipt reversals
Reversing a production receipt used to debit finished goods stock and credit work in progress a second time. It now credits stock and debits work in progress back on the same accounts the receipt used, so a reversed receipt nets to zero.
Posted Goods Receipts shown as a detailed table
Opening an order now shows its posted receipts in a table with quantity, who posted it, its status (Posted, Partly reversed, or Reversed by a document) and a Reverse button.
Clear reasons when a receipt cannot be reversed
A reversal is refused with the reason stated. Reasons include a cancelled order, goods no longer in stock, a re-weighment, a decided quality lot, or a date that is too early, in the future or in a closed period. A reason for the reversal is required.
Show completed orders on the receipt list
A new "Show completed orders" switch brings fully received production orders back into the Goods Receipt for Production Order list, so a wrong receipt on a completed order can still be found.
Production order quantities restored on reversal
A reversal gives back the order's delivered quantity and the produced quantity on its variant lines. A completed order re-opens as In Progress so the goods can be received again.
Reverse a Goods Receipt from Production
On Goods Receipt for Production Order and the Material Document List, a wrongly entered receipt can be reversed in full or by chosen lines, each for its full quantity. The dialog lists every line, explains why any line cannot be reversed, and asks for a reversal date (default: the receipt's posting date) and a reason. Users need the new Production Receipt Reversal role.
